Poinsettias were the door prizes this year and fresh lasagna and Italian salad with garlic bread were on the menu. Almost 200 people showed up for this annual event put on by the EOHA, and they did not disappoint. A new business to our area, Hasta la Pasta donated the dinner, which was followed by lots of tempting dessert choices. Residents brought food donations to be delivered to NAM.
Enchanted Oaks Residents Donate to Needy Families through NAM This year continued our newest tradition here in Enchanted Oaks, the second annual canned food drive that we held during our Annual Christmas Party. This year almost 200 people showed up to partake in the delicious food that Hasta la Pasta and the EOHA donated for our event, and they brought lots and lots of canned goods with them. As the evening wore on we began putting the donations under the Christmas tree that was set up in the lobby of the MUD building, and eventually they were overflowing. I am so proud of the generosity of my Enchanted Oaks neighbors! All of the food was delivered to Northwest Assistance Ministries the next day by our newsletter publisher (Diana Baskett) and her family. The photograph shows a busy NAM food pantry assistant with Diana’s son Cole. We were assured that the items donated were much needed during this time of the year. Please consider donating anytime you are able to, as donations always go to families in need.

Having fun at the dunking booth • Jumping in the moon walk
The EOHA Board and Constables • Officer Derek Fields, Diana Baskett & Officer George Beck The EOHA had a dunk tank, moon walk and they grilled up those hamburgers and hot dogs you so dearly love. There were displays from the Constables Office and other helpful information available that gave you ideas on how to better protect your property. I hope you didn’t miss out on this great opportunity to feed the kids, let them have some fun and get acquainted with your neighbors!
